can you loose weight and shape up by swimming?
I am 24 and have had 2 children at the moment i am 3 stone above the weight that i should be and really want to get back to my old body shape. i am 5'2 and weight 11 1/2 stone.
Will going swimming help me loose weight i already do 20 min each day on my cross trainer so could it help me loose weight better ?
Obviously i know my food intake has to change etc .... but ive heard rumours that all swimming does is keep you fit and that it doesnt actually help you loose weight.
also does anyone know if the body contour wraps work ?

Firstly, your not three stone above your weight range. I'm also 5'2. and you can weigh between 8stone1 and 10stone1 and still be in a healthy weight bracket, so you dont need to loose as much as you think you do! I have 2 kids too!, and it is hard work to get back into shape, but swimming is fantastic for all areas of your body, so give it a try! I follow the Weight Watchers plan, which means i can still eat what i fancy in moderation, you can go to online meetings too now.
