Why did Bush oppose allowing Medicaid to reduce prescription costs for seniors via collective bargaining?
A Dem proposal some years ago was to allow Medicaid to bargain for the 40 million or so members as a group for bulk purchases and drastically reduced prices.
Bush protected the Pharm companies and stood against the proposal (some years ago).
Why did Bush oppose what seemed to be an excellent way to reduce costs for tax payers AND seniors?
I think it is called corporate welfare!!
