Setting lotion...how long to set?
Ok so i brought plastic curl rods and setting lotion. I need for my hair to be curled by tommorow around noon at the lastest. [its 12:20 am now] I just read that it would take 5-7 hours to completely dry but i dont kno if thats true so my question is should i set my hair now and sleep with the rollers in or can i do it a couple of hours before and if so how many hours?
Allowing your hair to dry over night will produce similar results to setting your hair under a dryer. Setting lotions will likely make your hair feel a bit "crunchy" at first; you may like it better after picking through it with your fingers or a large toothed comb.
If you don't like what you get tomorrow morning, call a local salon and ask for a shampoo and set. Salon time can vary, but many can have you in, out, and styled in a couple hours.
