i am wanting to get into gardening where do i start oh buh i dnt have any qualifactions does that matter ??
i arent clever academicly but i do have a passion for gardening please could you help me i am really friendly and good with customers i live in the north east england and are finding it hard to find places please help please URGENT !!

I am a landscaper and designer and have owned my own off line business. I started my business by myself and after the first year I was able to hire a crew.
Your first step you already have - passion. The next step is to self-motivate yourself and believe that you can sell yourself to your potential clients.
You will need some basic equipment to start. A tiller if you have one, shovels, rakes, mattocks or ax, pruners and possibly a good size truck or other car that could transport your tools and possiblity plant materials.
Make some up business cards and distribute them to local nurseries and garden centers. Your goal is to get your name out and that is done by word of mouth. Word of mouth in a small business is a very powerful tool. Any place you can think of to put your business cards.
If you have done some work for anyone or have gardens or planters you have worked on, take a picture and begin a portfollio. People love visuals.
This is just some suggestions on getting started. Go with your passion -self motivate and use the tool of word of mouth. Good luck to you and feel free to contact me if you need more suggestions.
