Do I really Need an air purifier, I just want to breathe fresh clean CLEAN oxygen and air..so do i need one?

Is there another way to get clean fresh oxygen in my room, and house other then air purifier and cleaning? My house is pretty clean and I dust often.

You don't indicate the source of your question...did a doctor recommend an air purifier for health reasons, or have you been reading up on indoor air quality, or has someone you know suggested you get one?

For myself, I have severe allergies to chemicals, so an air purification system is critical for my health. [We actually have a whole house system as well as some single room units in strategic areas of the house.] In addition to the air purifier, I have also eliminated all sources of indoor air pollution.

If you research indoor air quality you will discover that indoor air pollution can be many, many times greater than outdoor air pollution. Partly because homes are so airtight, but mostly because so many things in our homes pollute the air. Furnishings, cleaning products, plastic products of every description, personal hygeine products, carpeting, hobby materials, even the materials the building itself is made out of ....they all potentially pollute the air in any home (or office).

Creating a healthy living space takes more knowledge today than ever before because so many things you may choose to furnish your home with are made from synthetic materials.

So do you really need an air purifier? Only if you want to take steps to protect your health long term. But an air purifier alone isn't the total answer. Educate yourself on sources of indoor air pollution, and correct as many of them as you can. A really great resource on creating a healthy living space is a book called
"Home Safe Home" by Debrah Lynn Dadd.
