ACCIDENT: bird Bene-back gel given to rabbit?
My rabbit has been sick for a little while, she was shaking, had a slight fever, and breathing really rapidly and wheezing, so I took her to vet and they said to put her in a warmer room because she is now in a very cold air conditioned room and if she is still sick in 2 days come back. So, she was sick so he gave us bautril antibiotic and a "Bird Bene-Bac Gel" for her digestive system to stay normal while on the antibiotic... I realize now that this is not the one given to small pets and its the one for birds and reptiles... I have been giving it to her for 4 days now and I will call vet in the morning, but now I am worried I have messed her up even worse then before..
HELP.. Can you please tell me if its alright.. hopefully a vet will respond.

If your vet gave you the meds, then you should have faith in the vet that they gave you the right meds. If you don't trust your vet, get a 2nd opinion.
